New Slang hosts a special one-off Reading Festival warm-up with:
Frank Turner (full band) + Fighting With Wire + Chris T-T & The Hoodrats.

For the first and probably only time, Chris will attempt to perform a full band set and then play piano in the Frank Turner band at the same show. Nuts. Kick-arse lineup though - don’t miss this one. McClusky’s is on Riverside Walk by Kingston Bridge.

mccluskys is rubbish. they didn’t open til 9, the bouncers didn’t know who exaclty was playing and were just kinda rude, they didn’t have a sign outside. we turned up at 8 to see you but just went to the pub instead

  2. Chris T-T Says:

hey sorry about that - we went on about 9.15pm in the end I think and because we were just a support band, we didn’t really know anything about how the doors were being operated or publicity stuff.

The New Slang team were really great - we were treated well but I have to agree the venue sound quality was a shocker.
