As promised, an addition to my Top 10s of the year…

GIGS (PLAYED)
In the Top 10s I left out my favourite gigs played, because I hadn’t finished touring for the year. So here they are. I try to judge gigs specifically by how much I enjoyed being onstage, so they’re not necessarily the best I performed, nor best audiences, nor overall evenings (although obviously that stuff has an effect)…

1. Jim Bob at Bush Hall, supporting and playing piano with the MFM orchestra
2. Uncivilisation Festival
3. Folk In A Box (one-on-one songs in the dark) at Kings Place & The Young Vic
4. Kingston Banquet Records instore
5. Doing the guided tour of Brighton Museum at Digital Late
6. British Animal Studies Network gig at Strathclyde University (animal-themed set)
7. Edinburgh on The Bear solo tour
8. Singing ‘Tunguska’ & ‘Tall Woman’ with the MFM Orchestra at the Boogaloo
9. Newcastle / Oxford on the Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo tour
10. Bexhill / Devizes / Brighton on The Bear solo tour
