I’m appearing at a pile of arts festivals over summer, performing the A.A. Milne show as well as just being me, sometimes doing both. Here’s what is confirmed and I’m allowed to announce so far:

WTF HAPPENED TO THE ‘CLARKSON’ EP?
It’s coming, I swear. The Taking Of Clarkson’s Lighthouse is mainly going tobe a bit louder than planned, so I’m recording it with Hoodrats and it’ll be the lead EP for my next album. Late summer, I hope. It’s a killer six track EP and I’m very proud of it – so stick with me and your patience will berewarded.
FOLK THE BANKS
I’m very chuffed that I have a piano version of my song ‘A-Z’ included on the Folk The Banks compilation, which includes music by Ani DiFranco, Peggy Seeger, Tom Morello, Martha Wainwright, Billy Bragg, Show Of Hands, Get Cape and others. The compilation is the inaugural release on Occupation Records, supporting the Occupy movement. You can download it now (on a ‘pay what you can afford’ basis) and they’re working on a CD and vinyl release.
WRITING CONTRIBUTIONS
Alongside my continuing Morning Star column (although I haven’t written one for weeks, got blocked out on the road) I’m now writing for Tooting Free Press, John Robb’s excellent online mag Louder Than War and I’m uploading all my writing to my page on Huffington Post UK. So look out for me.
DARK MOUNTAIN ISSUE 3
I have also contributed a nasty short story about dead badgers to the third issue of Dark Mountain‘s collaborative hardback book series. It’s a stunning book and you can advance order to support the publication, so they remain advert/publisher independent. It’s full of essays, fiction, poetry and artwork.

Like everyone, I’ve got a bit into Instagram. I’m photographing and publishing an image of a giraffe each day, til the end of August. Feel free to join in or post me giraffes. That doesn’t mean I’ve quit #loo2012 which is ongoing on Twitter, or my Empties, which are ongoing on Tumblr. It’s all golden.
